Welcome to Kathy's Embroidery & Alterations!
Kathy's offers custom sewing and machine embroidery. I do smaller embroidery projects. Please call or email for specifics.
Alterations and general sewing include zipper replacement or repair on most garments with a zipper. (Exclusions to zipper work are items such as backpacks, boots, heavy canvas type jackets and jackets that have a snap near the zipper. I will need to see these to determine if they can be repaired.)
I can help you with all your sewing needs. No job too big or small. I hem all types of clothing, curtains, etc. I do custom sewing such as create or repair cushions. I also enjoy making memory bears, t-shirt quilts and other memory items.
I offer wedding dress and bridesmaid dress alterations as well. Contact me to discuss and to schedule a fitting.
Feel free to drop off your sewing projects in my drop off/pick up box (deck box) anytime. Be sure to attach your name and number along with any instructions I might need.
Because I am not open to walk ins, for select fittings you will need an make an appointment. Call or text 651-233-8309 to schedule.
When your order is complete, I will contact you with the total, then you let me know when you'd like to pick up your order. At which time I'll place it in the drop box for you.
Prices vary depending on garment and work done. Approximate pricing:
Hemming pants/jeans $20-$25
Hemming dresses/tops $15-$65
Zipper replacement $40-$55
